Thank you so much to Brandi @ Chicken Scratch Diaries for letting me guest post on her blog this week!
As my kids get older, I’ve wondered what I can do to help them be happy and motivated.
So many people in today’s world drift through life with no purpose. They have no idea what they want out of life and no real sense of direction.
On the other hand, there are others who are wildly successful in everything they do.
So what makes the difference? What are the happy, successful people doing that the others aren’t? What motivates them to accomplish the things they do?
Like any parent, I want every one of my kids to be one of those people. I want them to be very successful in all that they do without having to make some of the mistakes I have first.
Knowing, nobody is ever successful without the drive and strong motivation to become so, I’ve spent a long time studying people on both sides of the spectrum to understand what the difference is. I’ve read book after book and listened to podcast after podcast.
Afterwards, I changed the way I approach parenting quite a bit.
We’re still learning every day, but the difference in my kids since we started has been amazing!
What do you think of these 6 steps to raise happy motivated kids? Are there other things you do for your own kids? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
